Metaverse as a concept was first introduced in science-fiction novel Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson in 1992, which showcased a Digital / Virtual World. Within a decade of the Novel's launch, the first Virtual Reality World by the name Second Life was launched, which allowed users to create their avatars and live in this virtual world. Similarly, Virtual Reality Headsets / Augmented Reality Glasses are not something new and have been available in the market from quite some time now.
