Follow the Queen brings the first art exhibition to iphone

In the same speed thas the technological innovations to mobile phones goes FOLLOW THE QUEEN: the first art exhibition created to iphone and iPod Touch.
You find 10 artworks from different artists, available to free download at App Store from Apple since March, 20th.
The artists involved are: Pedro Gutierres, Nina Moraes, Lidia Brancher, Ricardo Zigomático, Vinícius Popó, Guilherme Dietrich, Jorge Galvão, Felipe “Phil” Guimarães, Fabio Sasso e Jotapê Pax.
The browsing of Follow the Queen has a trick that reminds us the book “Where’s Waldo?” In each artwork there is a hidden queen, and only after discovered, the visualization of the next artist is allowed.
Created and developed by Queen Mob with curatorship of Pomba Arts, the proposal of FOLLOW THE QUEEN is to generate a new moment of interactivity between art and mobile telephony, where a person who has a Apple mobile phone can put, literally, the artworks in the pocket without the need of going to the gallery.
Involving new artists
In the first step of the project, there will have a kit to artists that want to join the exhibition.
Distributed in some galleries in Porto Alegre, Curitiba, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Belo Horizonte, the kit has a white poster already with the print of the Queen, a sealed envelope and two stickers.
Those who want to show their own artwork can create it and send to FOLLOW THE QUEEN.
Each artist who creates an artwork through gallery and sent it to the curatorship of Follow the Queen will have the artwork published in the blog of the project and will receive an unpublished drawing by mail. This mailing is free of charge.
The content of the blog is going to be broadcasted in the same day that the download of Follow the Queen is going to be available at App Store: March, 20th.
The website Follow the Queen will have an area to supporters, that is, the one who publicize the exhibition gets a link, which format is like an app icon to iphone.
