Vikas Tandon is a first generation entrepreneur, and has founded and leads Indigo Consulting, one of India’s leading Digital Agencies. The agency began life in 2000, and, in February 2012, it was acquired by the Publicis Groupe. Indigo Consulting is now part of the Leo Burnett Worldwide Network with a team of over 165 digital marketing professionals, and boasts India’s leading brands like HSBC, Asian Paints, HDFC Bank, Star TV, Vodafone and Max Life Insurance as its clients. With offices in Mumbai and Delhi, Indigo Consulting also provides digital marketing services to clients in the USA, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Vikas completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad in 1993, and is a digital media veteran having entered the industry in 1998 as the founder and head of Mudra Interactive (now known as Tribal DDB). At Mudra Interactive, he created one of the first automotive brand microsites in India for the launch of the Mitsubishi Lancer. MI’s work for J&J Baby won an Abby in 2000.
