In his current role as Managing Partner, Publicis Production India Varun spearheads both the Publicis Groupe's specialist production verticals - Prodigious and Content Factory along with brand led production solutions in India.

Varun took the helm of Publicis Production in 2019 and since Under his astute leadership Publicis Production has witnessed phenomenal growth going on to become the No. 1 production house in the country.

Varun is a new age production leader with strong appreciation of international and local creativity and a visionary shaping the content creation landscape of India through innovation and experience. Varun’s trademarked production models Supershoots® and Side by Side® that have redefined the production landscape and help build sustainable solutions for clients, supercharging growth for both the agency and its brands. Today Publicis productions boasts of an unbeatable roaster of international and Indian directors and capabilities to deliver full spectrum technology led solutions at scale.

And this shows in the various accolades the agency has been awarded. Prodigious is the only production house to bring home a Gold Lion at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity for their work for Airtel 175 which was produced on the cutting edge of technology, data and creativity. In addition to this Publics Production have also won big at some of the most prestigious platforms including One Show, One Asia, Clio to name a few. Recently The One Club for Creativity 2023 Global Rankings ranked Prodigious India as the Top 10 Production companies in APAC.

With over 15 years of experience, Varun has worked across the content production gamut – including feature films, shows, music videos and commercial films. Varun's extensive experience spans across genres and includes 1000+ commercials, with over 100 directors for 20 countries. He is also a National Award recipient for his film ‘Water Baby’ which released 2017.

Previously he has helmed the setting up of and running the branded content division at Dharma Productions and his production house Love & Faith.
