After 10 years of experience working for a search engine for jobs, a leading social network and the yellow pages in Europe I started as head of programmatic at Mindshare South Africa. I am responsible for the roll-out of the programmatic department at Mindshare.
I have been on both sides of the trading desk;
Through the social network I gained experience in inventory monetization on the publisher’s side:
- Manual inventory trading with Ad networks
- Real-time bidding
- Data collection
Through the yellow pages we set up programmatic advertising for SME’s, where I gained experience from the advertiser’s side:
- Platform selection
- Automation campaign setup
- Use of data for continuous campaign optimisation
