

Sumanta Ray is the Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer of the Siloam Hospitals Group, providing leadership to all commercial functions including Growth, Sales, Marketing, Product & Pricing and Digital Business across the entire network.
Sumanta brings a wealth of experience in healthcare strategy and commercial leadership from his previous strategy & commercial leadership roles in the top 3 Indian hospital networks (Apollo Hospitals, Narayana Health, Medanta) as well as part of the core team that led two of them public through highly successful IPOs (Medanta, Narayana Health). He is known as a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, and commercial growth. During his tenure at Medanta, Sumanta played a critical role in significantly growing the market share through the deployment of new revenue delivery channels such as patient life cycle management, digital sales, and loyalty programs. He also led the launch of Medanta’s retail lab, retail pharmacy & homecare business, which expanded the group’s presence in the region.
