Sulin Lau is the Regional Head of Brand and Country Marketing at Grab.
Growing up as the nerdy daughter of an obsessive history buff, Sulin dreamed of wandering the world as a journalist — but fate intervened, and she ended up in marketing instead. She went on to lead brand strategy teams at BBDO and DDB, and later led marketing and e-commerce teams for 2 telcos.
Before Grab, Sulin was the Head of Agency at Facebook Southeast Asia, helping media and creative agencies make the most of Facebook and Instagram as platforms to build brands and businesses. In March 2019, Sulin left Facebook to join Grab, where she now leads the super-app's brand and marketing teams across seven countries.
