Shilpa Dureja Puri, Director - Marketing for Luxury, Flagship and Ecosystem for Samsung India is responsible for overseeing company’s branding and marketing efforts across these categories.

Tasked with the responsibility to drive all marketing functions as the company launches several premium and flagship smartphones, Shilpa a modern marketing enthusiast draws on more than 21 years of experience, across both client and agency-side businesses, to conceptualize and oversee award-winning marketing campaigns that cover everything from advertising, product communication, mobile marketing, social media, media relations to community management.

Shilpa leads the communication charter for Samsung India’s Digital Capability Centre and a part of company’s Diversity & Inclusion council.

Prior to joining Samsung, Shilpa worked with Microsoft where she led Digital Marketing for the entire portfolio landing social selling for B2B, and helping key partner businesses’ in setting up digital capabilities across India & Africa under the Skills4Afrika Initiative.

Shilpa has also held senior marketing roles at Publicis Worldwide, RCS Media Group, Times of India and Hindustan Times and excelled across American, Italian, Indian and now Korean cultural setups.

An avid learner, she holds a Gold Medal in Management Studies from IMI New Delhi, an INSEAD certification on Online Business Strategy & Financial Acumen and a distinction from Kellogg University in Modern Marketing.

Shilpa passionately invests her time and efforts in mentoring digital SMEs and building digital curriculum at premier B-schools and academic institutions. She is a Member of the Networking Council of Business & Academia in India.

Shilpa featured prominently in LinkedIn’s list of Power Profiles for the Internet Industry for 2012 and also 2019. She has been recognized among ‘100 Smartest Digital Marketing Leaders’ by World Digital Marketing Congress and CMO Asia.
