Shekhar is an integrated strategist who has transformed himself several times in the last 18 years in the APAC region. Started as a researcher, and later he donned many strategy hats in different cities (Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, & Shanghai) and in different agencies - research, creative, social, activation and media, has made him understand the importance and need for seem-less integration in the comms business.
While he loves ‘big ideas’, he prefers ‘bigger integrations’ for his clients he has worked for over the years. In his last stint in GroupM China, he played an important role in integrating comms solutions for Nestle China brands across diverse categories. He was often tasked by clients to work with different agency partners and integrate their work keeping media solutions at the heart of it.
He feels that with Indian marketing changing at a breakneck speed, new media platforms, tech emerging every day, and Indian market growing at twice the rate compared to the world, it is paramount that brands find smarter ways to integrate their products in media for better effectiveness and efficiencies.
