Sawan is the President Director for Johnson & Johnson Indonesia responsible for Consumer Health, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals and Vision Care business of J&J in Indonesia. He has been in the current role since Aug 2019 prior to which he was based in Singapore and responsible for Global Emerging Markets Strategy for the company.

Sawan started his career with Procter & Gamble in India and did various roles across India and South-East Asia in the commercial organisation. Post which he joined Nokia in Helsinki responsible for Global Channel Strategy for the company. With Nokia he also had a stint in Beijing after Helsinki where he was responsible for APAC mobile phones retail business. Before joining J&J in Singapore in 2017 he was with GSK in India as the Sales Director.  

Sawan has worked across various levels in the commercial organisation in 7 different countries and broadly across 2 different industries- FMCG and Technology.
