Rashi Goel started her career as the first diverse sales officer for L'Oréal India in 1998 and steadily worked her way up to a CMO position by 2013. From 2013 to 2023, she has led increasingly complex and scale mandates as CMO from Givaudan APAC, to Kraft Heinz India, Nestle South Asia and finally, Amazon India.

One word that encapsulates her career, is “Pattern Recognition”. She has had the good fortune to do deep work in twenty categories. She has tasted success and failure in different business scenarios - launched seeds, scaled large brands, turned arounds businesses, and launched consumer tech platforms. Not just that, she has also lived and worked in five cities.

She is a minimalist in material possessions, and a maximalist in learning – she has a double MBA, from MDI Gurgaon and Stanford GSB. You are guaranteed to run into her at some course or the other.

She runs a marketing advisory firm called Performonks, that helps consumer facing companies clarify differentiated marketing and branding strategies guaranteed to win with consumers.

She writes a popular marketing newsletter by the name of Performonks on Substack, that distils her experience and reading into practical playbooks for marketers as they navigate careers and wicked marketing problems.
