Preeti has over three decades of experience in consumer marketing, consulting, and research helping leading Indian and multinational companies to make informed decisions using consumer understanding. Her consulting and research experience covers a multitude of industries- FMCG, durables, retail and services.
Prior to joining Kantar, Preeti was CEO of LMRB in Sri Lanka. She has also headed Mindscape- the strategic consumer consulting division of Technopak - and has been a Senior Vice President at TNS India. Preeti has earlier worked with the BAT group in India and in management consulting with Besant Raj Consultants. Preeti is a strong proponent of technology-driven innovation in research, adoption of new, non-conscious methods of understanding consumers and applying sophisticated analytic capabilities to integrated data to help transform consumer insights into business impact for clients.
Preeti has been on the list of Impact’s 50 Most Influential Women in the Indian Media, Marketing & Advertising for five consecutive years since 2016 and is currently Chairperson of CII’s India Women Network (Maharashtra chapter).
Preeti holds an Honours degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi and is an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur. She is a voracious reader and a bad bridge player who loves old Hindi film music, movies and poetry.
