Pamela Clark-Dickson is a lead analyst, heading up the new Communications and Social team in Ovum. Her focus is on messaging, OTT communications (messaging, VoIP and video), social media, rich communications and WebRTC.

Pamela’s  most recent research includes: WebRTC: An Emerging Revenue Opportunity for Telcos, and Ephemeral Messaging: Beyond Snapchat. In addition, Pamela also regularly produces assessments of the strategies of telcos, OTT communications providers and social media companies with respect to next-generation communications services, as well as research on the enterprise messaging market, including telco and vendor strategies for the provision of A2P messaging services. She is also a regular speaker and chair at industry conferences, and is frequently called on to provide media comment on topical and trending developments. Her experience in consultancy includes multiple projects for operators, vendors and telecoms suppliers, including the production and delivery of workshops, webinars and white papers.

Pamela has covered the telecoms sector for almost 20 years as an analyst and journalist, and joined Informa in 2002; prior to the merger of Informa Telecoms and Media and Ovum, Pamela  worked as a senior analyst in ITM’s Mobile Content & Applications Intelligence Centre, and as editor of a number of industry newsletters.  She currently edits Ovum’s Consumer Telecoms newsletter.
