Megha leads a diverse set of digital-first and public sector industry verticals at Google that spans eCommerce, Fintech, Marketplaces, Education and Government. With a career spanning over 18 years, she has worked in senior leadership roles with leading brands and has been part of the digital retail revolution in India. Megha was a start-up leader for PayPal India building the large merchant acquisition and engagement strategy. Prior to that, as Director Payments Consulting at American Express, she led the launch of Amex’s first-ever one-click payment solution for online shopping and was a core member of the RBI working group that was formed to assess the integration of Aadhar in India’s Payments ecosystem. More recently, Megha led the launch of Google Shopping in India. She is the co-Chairperson of the e-commerce Committee at the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a member of the National Retail Industry Forum. Megha is a certified trainer in Diversity & Inclusion & champions workplace inclusion & coaching for underrepresented groups at Google. She also is a start-up mentor and enjoys being a sounding board for new ideas and creative solutions to old problems.
