

Mark leads marketing and commercial functions across Asia Pacific to drive performance of the 12 iconic hotel brands in the luxury, full-service and focussed-service markets and hundreds of restaurants located in five operational regions: Greater China, Japan/Korea/Micronesia, Asia & Indian Ocean, India and Australasia & South Pacific.
Mark leads a matrix of functions including Brand, Marketing Program Management, Regional Marketing, Luxury Marketing, PR, Customer Loyalty, Partnerships, and Operations. In addition, he has full budget and P&L accountability for retail segments, the loyalty program and partnership programs. Furthermore, as a member of the APAC Executive Committee Mark oversees business operations in 21 countries and as a member of the Global Commercial Leadership team, defines global strategy and commercial activity.
Mark joined Hilton Worldwide from CSL, where operating across Asian markets he served as Chief Marketing Officer and was responsible for a number of world first launches, development of the multi-brand portfolio, and new multi-channel retail concepts to drive award winning customer engagement & commercial performance. Prior to this, Mark served as General Manager of Marketing & Customer Management at Macquarie Telecom, having previously operated in EMEA with companies such as Orange, O2 and BT.
Mark is a graduate of Durham University and post-graduate in Strategy at Oxford University. He was named in the Global Telecom Top 40 Under 40 in 2012 & 2013, has received recognition for being one of Asia’s most influential CMO’s and won awards for branding, marketing effectiveness, digital programs, mobile and retail design, knowledge he shares through lectures on marketing at business schools in the United States and Asia. In his spare time, Mark is a passionate sportsman playing rugby, golf and participating in cycling races.
