As Assistant Chief Executive, Marketing, Lynette Pang is responsible for building the Singapore destination brand globally and helms the international marketing efforts of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

She runs marketing across the B2C (leisure) and B2B (MICE) businesses, which includes industry marketing, brand, digital & social, communications and consumer research across 20+ markets. She also oversees global strategic marketing partnerships, corporate communications and marketing capability development.

Lynette spent her early STB years in a business development role in the entertainment, arts, sports, healthcare and education sectors. A career highlight was the opportunity to helm the Formula One and Grand Prix Season Singapore portfolio.

Prior to her public sector career, Lynette was in media and entertainment across marketing and general management roles. At Yahoo! Asia Lynette picked up her digital skills and launched Yahoo! Shopping. Her years in Warner Bros. Theatrical and Golden Village saw her marketing Hollywood and independent films. Lynette started her career in advertising with Saatchi & Saatchi.

Her passion for the arts saw her dedicating a few years to not-for-profit arts group, Singapore Repertory Theatre as General Manager that saw Dick Lee’s “Forbidden City” debut at the Esplanade Theatre opening, the development of SRT’s theatre at Robertson Quay and launch of The Little Company, a children’s theatre group.

Lynette is an Executive Committee Member of the World Federation of Advertisers and is a board member at Arts House Limited. She had previously sat on the boards of the Singapore International Film Festival and the Council for Private Education. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Sociology and has an Honours in English Literature.

The Public Administration Medal (Silver) was conferred upon Lynette as part of the National Day Awards 2019.
