Joby Babu is an internet industry professional with global experience across North America, India, South East Asia, Middle East and Europe. He has been with mobile internet ventures, Mobile handset OEMs and telecom operators over his 15 years of professional experience.  

Joby Babu is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Nimbuzz B V, based out of Rotterdam, Netherlands. Nimbuzz is part of New Call Telecom based in London, UK post its acquisiton of Nimbuzz in Nov 2014. He is responsible for global operations of the company managing global P&L, building and managing global offices and operations. He is responsible for advertising sales & operations, app distribution, busienss and user analytics, customer life cycle management and customer services functions. His passion and expertise lies in operationillising ventures and building revenue streams leading the way to profitability.

He has been an active mentor and investor in many internet and business ventures. He also has been an active advisor to many global ventures on their emerging market strategies.

Joby was previously the Head of Operations in VAS Marketing at Aircel Wireless -­‐ Maxis Telecom Subsidiary.  He has also worked in South East Asia in Singapore helping Shell PetroChemicals with sales and market entry startegies. He has also been a part of the North American sales team as the Technical Account Manager at Motorola Chicago. Joby has also worked as a Software Integration Manager in Motorola during the initial tenure of his career.  

He graduated in business from Saïd Business School – University of Oxford, and has attended New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA.
