Joana Picq is a civil engineer turned tech fanatic. She is a partner at Jampp, leaders in user acquisition and user re-engagement for mobile apps globally, with offices in San Francisco, London, Berlin, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, and Cape Town. Prior to her career as a tech entrepreneur, Joana spent 4 years at Microsoft doing business development across Europe, Middle East and Africa. She then founded multiple startups in Europe and Brazil, expanded TheNextWomen into an international magazine, worked as Entrepreneur in Residence at X.Million Capital Ventures, and launched Voyage Privé in Brazil in 2011. She acts as a board advisor for MotherForAll.org and mentors multiple startups across the world. She is based in Cape Town but spends most of her time flying around the World to meet clients and partners. Joana is an avid surfer and runner, with a healthy addiction to mindfulness and meditation.
