James DeStefano has been in the CRM space for 13 years. Today, James leads the CRM program and Retail & Wholesale Marketing for Casper, who is best known for creating outrageously comfortable mattresses that ship in a box directly to your door. At Casper, James is responsible for driving double digit customer growth and building enduring brand love and customer loyalty. In his tenure at Casper, James was responsible for expanding the CRM program across the media ecosystem, targeting first party data across digital and offline media channels.
James started his career on the agency side at Experian CheetahMail, supporting a portfolio of high profile, Fortune 500 clients across multiple verticals. After five years at Experian CheetahMail, James went on to lead the CRM program for Gilt and Gilt City. In his role at Gilt, James successfully steered a pipeline of high impact customer activation and reactivation initiatives. With consecutive year-over-year revenue growth, James transformed the Gilt CRM program into one that stakeholders always wanted more support from and that the business wanted to resource more heavily.
When James isn’t focused on being customer obsessed, he enjoys spending time with his two nieces, Elle and Joey.
