Neel co-founded his own creative agency with his creative partner Kumkum Fernando called Ki Saigon. Since then Ki Saigon has worked with clients like Unilever, Coca-Cola, Asia Foods and Marico South East Asia. Since Ki Saigon started it has won at the Agency of Year awards for two years in a row and last year was the only agency in Vietnam to win at Asian Marketing Effectiveness awards. Neel himself has been rated as Campaign Asia’s 40-under-40 best advertising person in Asia-Pacific. He has won ‘Best Strategic person of the year’ at Haymarket’s AOY - Awards for the South East Asia region. He set up the Lowe Vietnam Creative Engagement and Strategic Planning unit in 2009. Led the largest planning team in the country handling businesses worth US $ 140 Mn. He has won 26 metals at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness awards in various categories, including 4 golds & 1 platinum. He has been faculty at Solvey Institute in Vietnam running a course on Strategic & Engagement planning. Neel has been in Vietnam for 10 years and loves it here. He met his girlfriend here and they have two children together. Neel believes that best work happens when we work with friends, not clients. He also believes he is a very good writer, but in reality his writing sucks (at least thats what his creative partner tells him).
