Imran Baghirov lead’s Mastercard Data & Services Business Development on Retail and Commerce segment for Turkiye and 11 CIS countries. Before joining Mastercard, Imran has hold various roles in Azercell Telecom (part of TeliaSonera Group), having Head of Strategy and Innovation as most recent one. This was followed by being managing partner at IBMS Solutions while saving companies more than 4M+ USD in savings and improvements.

Led the first corporate backed startup incubator in Azerbaijan – Barama Innovation Center, followed by entrepreneurial journey founding the biggest private technology center in Azerbaijan – LotfiZadeh Technology Center(LTC).

Imran holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Baku State University. He is socially active with 3x TEDx’s speaker role, being host in radio, also being local Linkedin influencer with 21K+ followers, where he shares business and career insights. Imran holds Master Black Belt degree on Lean Six Sigma from Sandholm Associates/Sweden.
