Fred has more than 20 years of marketing communication experience in both China and Australia and currently working at the Marketing Director of Tourism Australia for Mainland China, Hongkong and South Korea.
Prior to joining Tourism Australia, Fred has been working in the advertising industry across different categories. During this time, he has fully immersed into the core of consumer centric communication.
At Tourism Australia, given the passion he has for Australia, he has led the team to launch a number of successful communication campaigns, including Too Australian For Words, 8D immersive video, Your holiday Shot in Australia. China became the biggest source market for Australia inbound tourism in 2019, and the most valuable market in terms traveler expenditure. Tourism Australia will continue to explore ways of communication to bring Australia closer to the Chinese consumer.
