Ms. Emily is currently Country Head of Marketing for Grab Vietnam, the most popular transportation hailing application on smartphones in South East Asia. In her role, she shapes the strategy behind the company's user growth and lifecycle management, country expansion and service diversification. She also oversees Grab's marketing efforts across Vietnam. Grab Vietnam, however, was not Emily's first success in tech start-ups. Prior to it, she was the Director of Partnerships & B2B at Lazada Vietnam, one of Asia's leading online-shopping platforms. She had also spent two years working in media as Marketing Manager for Indochine Media Ventures - publishers of luxury magazine like Robb Report, Luxury Guide or Barcode, from 2011 to 2013. Born in Vietnam and raised in the U.S, Emily earned her bachelor degree in Economic & Business Management at the University of Irvine, California. Her first ventures into the business world was co-founding an event management company and a construction company in the U.S. She then decided to go back to her motherland to explore new opportunities and has since cited this as her best decision ever. In a very new market like Vietnam, and at her current position as Head of Country Marketing for Grab Vietnam. Emily is more than excited to be a part of a game-changing business that is dedicated to the development of the transportation system in SEA in general, and in Vietnam in particular.
