Ed is a graduate of Nottingham University and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He served 5 years as an officer in the British Army before taking on various management roles in advertising agencies in London (TBWA, AMV BBDO and Ogilvy). Ed was lured to the client side by GlaxoSmithKline where he was responsible for the global brand communications on their Oral Care business, helping Sensodyne to become the fastest selling toothpaste in the world. He moved to Asia to take on the role of Marketing Director South Asia based in Kuala Lumpur. Ed joined GroupM Indonesia in Jan 2012 and in Feb 2016 he took on the additional responsibility of the Vietnam operations. Ed is married with 3 children and enjoys playing any sport which involves balls!
