

Devinder leads the Marketing for International Operations of Schneider Electric and is part of its Global Marketing Leadership team reporting to EVP & CMO and is also part of International Operations Leadership team. International Operations is a multi-billion Euro operation, spread over 95 countries spanning the Pacific, India, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. Devinder is based in Singapore.
He has been with Schneider Electric for about 9 years and has earlier worked as the Senior VP - Brand & Marketing Engagement in Global Marketing, Schneider Electric since 2015.
Before joining Schneider Electric, Devinder worked in Nokia in multiple roles starting as CMO, India before moving to Nokia Global Marketing team in Finland in creative and marketing strategy roles. He then spent 2 years at Microsoft (as a result of Nokia takeover) as Head of Retail Sales and Marketing for Mobile devices before moving to Schneider Electric. Devinder started his professional career at Unilever in India, where he spent 20 years in various roles in Sales, marketing and General Management and his last position in Unilever India was VP-Foods.
He has worked on developing, building and managing very strong brands over his career – Dove, Wheel, Annapurna, Knorr, Nokia, Lumia, Schneider Electric, EcoStruxure etc.
He has held diverse positions across Singapore, Hong Kong, Finland and India in Marketing, Sales and General Management functions.
Devinder holds a Masters In Management Studies (MMS) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai, India and prior to that has a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Birla Institute of Technology &Science (BITS) Pilani, India, and has completed leadership programs from INSEAD.
