With nearly a decade of experience cultivating in both agency and client sides, ranged from MNCs to Local Corporate, Phu Cuong has proven as a Growth-oriented & Innovation-led marketer. He started his career as an Associate Planner at Redder Advertising, then continued his career at MNCs’ Brands such as Samsung (handling marketing for the home appliance category), Mirinda (one of key CSD Brands of Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam) and Aquafina (No.1 Packaged Water Brand in Vietnam). In 2017, he made a surprising turn to become Group Brand Manager of Biti's Hunter and together with team achieved a phenomenal 2018 of tripling business value as well as winning many prestigious Marketing & Advertising Awards.
He currently holds Marketing Director position, overseeing Biti's key portfolio (Biti's Hunter - Biti's Kids - Biti's Women), Partnership Marketing and Overseas Market development.
During the time in Samsung, Suntory PepsiCo and now at Biti’s - the most award-winning local brand, Cuong has played an important role in driving the brand significant growth, in delivering Brand/Product Innovation and achieve 20+ prestigious Vietnam – APAC – Global Awards, including 10 Golds, 6 Silvers, 6 Bronzes at PR Asia Awards, Tangrams Effectiveness, MMA The Smarties, Youtube Ads Leaderboard, Youtube Works, Caples and more.
