Over 20 years of experience in multi-national organizations, in country, region and global projects roles in the consumer goods, mining, technology, petrochemical industries (SABMiller, Cerrejon - BHP Billiton-Xtrata coal mine, IBM, Dow Chemical), and PR & Communications consultancy (Llorente & Cuenca).



My track record of achievements in communications, institutional relations, sustainability and corporate affairs, and commitment to improving the lives of customers & communities while driving businesses value, have led me to implement successful regional projects that became global practices. I have built high-performance, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams and managed challenges for the business on regulations, trade restrictions, reputation, social and environmental issues.



I have a broad international experience and knowledge of the Latin America region, and an extended network of stakeholders, including government officials, authorities, associations, NGOs media and multilateral organizations. I have been a greater contributor in improving SABMiller’s and its brands reputation with key audiences.



My expertise in communications and sustainability has launched me to be keynote speaker and panelist at forums such as: the SROI (Social Return of Investment) Conference Milan- Italy, US Chamber of Commerce Foundation Women´s Path to Empowerment series, the Symposium on Inclusive Growth at Harvard University, UN Global Compact Latam, Marcus Evans Corporate Comms Conference.



Prior to joining SABMiller Latam, I was the Director of Bavaria (SABMiller subsidiary) Foundation, the largest foundation in Colombia.



I worked three years at Llorente & Cuenca, as managing director of Colombia. I contributed to company’s revenue and profitability growth. I developed comms strategies for companies such as Gas Natural, Microsoft, Abbot, Telefónica, Mars.
