Aruna has over 20 years of rich experience in public relations, communication, and media relations. She has worked and handled various roles in organizations such as Genesis BM, Hammer MSL and the Practice, Aditya Birla Capital, and Edelweiss Financial Services, working across sectors such as Corporate, Retail, IT before finally selecting to specialize in Financial Services. Aruna also founded her own communications consultancy firm, TCC Marketing Private Limited, translating her passion for words and comics into an innovative synergy that covered content marketing, social media communication, business communication strategies, marketing content, books (fiction, non-fiction, and coffee table) and new age comic content for other like-minded book lovers and corporate enterprises, especially in the financial services domain.

Having started her career with Businessworld as a journalist covering finance and technology, she has written comics for children with Tinkle and Amar Chitra Katha, produced a successful TV show on head honchos in Corporate India for UTV, worked with an entire spectrum of financial institutions as a PR Consultant and Content Strategist and finally produced an award winning documentary on Night Rat Killers in Mumbai called Rat Race which has since won awards at Cannes, Amsterdam, Korea, Italy, London and Chicago and aired on NetFlix.

Aruna is a Bachelor of Commerce and holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Mumbai University. The experience she today brings to the table is given that she worked with top talent and top companies in every field, which had helped her in shaping herself as a professional and providing invaluable excitement and experience that holds her in good stead today.
