As Senior Marketing Director of Expedia EMEA, Andrew is responsible for leading the brand marketing, research, insights and PR functions, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all aspects of its service.
Andrew possesses over 17 years of travel and marketing experience from a career spanning a broad range of sectors within the marketing industry. Starting his career in marketing at McDonald's, Andrew moved to the advertising agency, Leo Burnett, where he was Sports Marketing Manager. Andrew made the move online in 2002, joining Freeserve in its early days as Head of Client Sales before taking a brand marketing role at Yahoo!. Over the course of six years, Andrew held a variety of senior brand and marketing roles at Yahoo!, culminating in his appointment as Marketing Director for Europe.
After one and a half years at Skyscanner, where he led the company's marketing efforts through a period of rapid expansion, innovation and increased shareholder value, Andrew joined Expedia in November 2014. Andrew's career has enabled him to combine his passion for sport and travel with a keen curiosity and focus on the evolving role of technology in marketing.
