Anawat Sangkhasap is the Chief Marketing Officer of Suntory PepsiCo Beverage Thailand Co., Ltd. He is the PepsiCo secondee working in a JV company between PepsiCo and Suntory to operate both PepsiCo and Suntory beverage business in Thailand. Within this role, he leads the entire marketing strategy and execution for all PepsiCo and Suntory beverage brands in Thailand including Pepsi, Mirinda, 7Up, Gatorade, Lipton, Tea+, and Boss Coffee. Key successes in this role are the growth in Pepsi especially on brand equity as well as market share while the growth of Pepsi No Sugar has been exceptional.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Anawat was the Chief Marketing Officer of Yum Restaurants International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. where he was responsible for all marketing activities of KFC brand in Thailand where he drove KFC (the number 1 QSR in Thailand) through a very challenging COVID time. During this time (and beyond), KFC OMNI channel grew significantly including delivery own channel, food aggregator channel, self-pick up, as well as the recovery of dine in business. On the brand side, KFC brand equity has improved significantly with evidence in multiple awards won during the period.

Anawat spent his early career in Retail Marketing starting with 7 years at Tesco Lotus (currently Lotus) as a Sr. Brand Manager – Store & Local Marketing with the key achievement of launching Tesco Club Card in Thailand (the first time outside the UK) before continued his retail marketing career as the Chief Marketing Officer of Robinson Department Store PCL which is part of Central Group. At Robinson, he stepped change and lead digital transformation making Robinson one of the most advanced Bus within Central Group on digital transformation. He also set up and grew Robinson Online (E-Commerce) which has been successful until now). His last role in retail was with Siam Piwat where he headed overall marketing strategy as well as driving data-driven transformation.

Anawat earned his BBA degree from Thammasat University and completed his MBA from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
