Adam Sand leads the executive team as CEO of Shopkick, one of the most popular and engaging shopping rewards apps in the United States. Adam’s informal and collaborative leadership style is a powerful source of employee engagement at Shopkick. Additionally, his extensive background in shaping products to ensure consumer privacy enables him to help retailers and brands engage directly with consumers online, offline and via their mobile phone.
Prior to his current role, Adam served as VP of Business Development and VP of Human Resources for Shopkick after transitioning from the law firm Jones Day and in-house roles at eBay, PayPal and Ancestry. He uses his experience representing companies like Apple, AT&T, and Chevron, defending against fraud at eBay, and helping consumer products expand internationally to push Shopkick into new markets and product offerings. In addition to leading the team at Shopkick, you can often find Adam playing with his kids, teaching privacy law issues to future lawyers, or speaking at conferences throughout the country.
