Julia has been in the traditional Publishing & Media space for over 30 years. Prior to launching her most recent business, Paradigm Connect, she ran Associated Media Publishing as the CEO which was an established, independent media business.

She is an experienced CEO with a demonstrated track record working in the publishing industry in South Africa. Her experience covers a broad spectrum, including business development and strategy, management, marketing, finance, digital media and sales.

Paradigm Connect was launched in 2021 and is now almost 4 years old and flourishing in a new model of content publishing in the Telco space. They have launched two successful lifestyle brands, Glow (860K subscribers) and Openly (840K subscribers) with Vodacom as their partner and now with a third international brand on the way. Other clients include: APDerm, Sofacompany, Keedo, ARENA and Sentinel Ocean Alliance.

She belongs to YPO (Young Presidents Organisation) since January 2007 and held many different positions during her YPO tenure including:

• Learning Officer: 2018/19
• Membership Officer:2019/20
• YPO Gold Cape Town Chair: 2020/21

She has sat on various international Publishing Boards over the years and currently sits on the EXCO of the Global Marketing Network for YPO as the Chief Engagement Officer.
