CMO Clare Grant joins international mobile marketing board Guildford, October 25 2010 Clare Grant, Chief Marketing Officer of Volantis, the mobile internet specialist, has been elected to the 2011 EMEA Board of Directors by the members of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). Clare will be joined on the EMEA board for 2011 by representatives from companies including Orange, Ericsson, Telefonica SA, Deutsche Telekom AG, Coca Cola, and Yahoo!. Since its launch as the Wireless Advertising Association (WAA) in 2000, the MMA has grown to represent over 700 companies involved in the mobile marketing industry from major brands, international advertising agencies to mobile operators and technology firms. Clare Grant, Volantis’ CMO, commented: “Volantis has always been a champion of open mobile standards, and that fits very well with the MMA’s mission to establish industry-wide best practices for mobile marketing by working in close collaboration with companies at all levels of the mobile marketing value chain.
