Mobile Marketing Association LATAM Announces September MMA Forum

São Paulo, August 5, 2010 – Mobile is becoming today’s most ubiquitous media channel.  More than one billion mobile devices are sold every year around the world and, thanks to digital media convergence, they are quickly becoming consumers’ preferred screen choice.  Mobility enables brands to get direct access to consumers, who are always connected in a unique and personalized dialogue established between both.  Considering the current opportunities and challenges for marketers in this environment, MMA (Mobile Marketing Association) LATAM will hold its 2010 MMA Forum on September 2, 2010 in São Paulo.

MMA Forum features a variety of renowned speakers and experts, who will discuss best practices for the mobile market, how brands can maximize this channel, how mobile technologies can become increasingly standardized and accessible when integrating mobile into an overall marketing strategy, as well as subjects on convergence and mobility.  The purpose of the event is for companies to exchange the experiences they accumulated by using winning mobility strategies, and to promote the mobile marketing ecosystem by identifying new opportunities and creating benchmarks for best practices to protect the consumer experience.

Maria Luisa Askar López is the media director at Unilever Brazil, responsible for managing the strategic media for all Unilever brands.  Malu López also chairs the Digital Marketing and Media Managing Committee, and is a member of the Board of IVC, the Brazilian institute that determines circulation.
