London, UK, 23rd January, 2014 – The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), the leading global trade association for the mobile industry, today announced the appointment of Chris Babayode as Managing Director for EMEA. He will be working alongside the organisation’s global leadership team, led by CEO Greg Stuart, to expand the MMA’s voice and reach in the EMEA region.
Chris is a skilled and versatile international business leader with over 15 years’ experience working across traditional and digital media, including search, advertising networks, mobile and apps. In his new role, Chris will continue the MMA’s thought leadership campaign within EMEA and increase advertiser and agency awareness of the potential of the mobile channel.

Chris’ previous roles have included five years as Commercial Digital Director for Johnston Press Plc (a UK multimedia publisher business) where he was responsible for its Digital Publishing Division, re-launching, marketing and monetising its web, mobile and app sites. In addition, he spent six years as VP Sales and Business Development at Ask.com during which time he expanded the business into Europe through partnerships and acquisitions.
Chris will be based out of the MMA’s London office as of January 2014.
