Burton Katz Named Chief Executive Officer for New Motion, Inc., Parent Company of MOBILESIDEWALK™
Katz Has Been at the Forefront of the U.S. & European Mobile Entertainment Industry Since Its Inception
lRVINE, CA – Mobile industry veteran Burton Katz has signed on as chief executive officer of digital entertainment company New Motion, Inc., parent company of MobileSidewalk™, it was announced today.
Katz joins MobileSidewalk from Buongiorno S.p.A. As president of Buongiorno’s North American operations and past executive of its U.K. operations, Katz oversaw strategic planning and implementation of both Buongiorno’s B2B business and the successful U.S. launch of their consumer brand. Prior to joining Buongiorno in 2001, Katz was a principal in PriceWaterhouseCooper’s E-Business Division, where he advised global telecom and media clients on pioneering new products and developing digital distribution channels.
