The MMA Mobile Coupon Ad Unit Standards Committee (MOCAUS) is creating standards for vocabulary, creative and measurements for mobile coupon based ads. MoCAUS will be conducting its first field trials of the initial proposed specifications in September with committee members Jumptap, FunMobility, Motorola conducting the trials with retail partner Ace Hardware and using creative contributed by Razorfish.

The NAI Released Privacy Guidelines for Mobile Ad Networks – Learn More

Chapell & Associates, joined Anthony Prestia from the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), to discuss the background and impact the NAI Mobile Application Code will have on MMA members that are advertising sellers or buyers.

Progress on Location Terminology Guide

The first planned deliverable from the MMA Location Committee is due to be released co-incident with Advertising Week in late September 2013. Co-chairs Monica Ho of xAd and Jake Moskowitz of Nielsen are leading committee efforts to establish a comprehensive set of definitions that should be used in the use of location in mobile marketing.

Asia Pacific, 17th January, 2012 – Havas Media (http://www.havasmedia.com) announces the acquisition of a majority stake in Snapworx Mobile, Inc, the mobile marketing arm of Snapworx, Inc. (http://www.snapworxdigital.com), one of the Philippines’ biggest digital marketing agencies. Following the acquisition Snapworx’s mobile business will be rebranded as Mobext which already operates as the global mobile marketing brand within the Havas Digital stable.
