Wishnutama is a professional in media industry. He’s graduated from Faculty of Communication of Mount Ida College in Boston, U.S., but he admitted getting most of his knowledge about TV industry from Emerson College. He started his career from the bottom by being a Production Assistant at New England Cable News for U.S. and Assistant Director for On Air Promotion at WHDH TV in Boston. Meanwhile, he learned about discipline and spirit of “esprit de corps” while studying at Military College of Vermont, in Norwich University.

In the year of 1994, he decided to went back home to Indonesia and worked as a Supervisor for On Air Promotion at Indosiar. A year later, he moved to Production Division and take on the responsibility as a Producer. His career continued to progress rapidly and soon he became Executive Producer for News and Production, and finally as a Production Manager. Back then, he produced several programs, like PESTA, GEBYAR BCA, PATROLI, and SAKSI for Indosiar.

In 2001, he decided to move to TRANS TV and became the Head of Production Division. In three years, he successfully earned the position as Operational Director for Trans TV. One year after that, he became the Deputy Director of Trans TV. Then when Para Group decided to take the majority of the share of TV7 in 2006, he was chosen to be the President Director of TV7 which now have become TRANS7. Two years later, he became the President Director of TRANS TV as well. Programs that was produced under his leadership while working for Transcorp is EXTRAVAGANZA, DUNIA LAIN, TERMEHEK-MEHEK, OPERA VAN JAVA, EMPAT MATA and INDONESIA MENCARI BAKAT.
