As Vice President of Comscore North Asia, Victor Cheng has been helping advertisers understand the dynamics of the digital space since 2010. His main field of interest is the fast pace of change in the digital world, and he has used vast experience to help leading corporations, including Alibaba Group, Baidu and Samsung, in their digital monetization and transformation.
Victor was appointed Chairman of IAB Hong Kong (IAB HK) in 2021. During his Chairmanship, Victor will lead IAB HK, together with other Members of the Executive Committee, to help local marketers get the best out of digital. IAB HK was founded in 2016, together with representatives of six other founding members - Facebook, Google, Next Digital, Red Lotus, South China Morning Post and Verizon Media.
Prior to Comscore, Victor served as Senior Account Director of Ad Sales and Marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment where he successfully built the venture into a key revenue center for the company. Previously, Victor was Head of Business Development for MSN at Microsoft where he was the first business development leader for MSN in Hong Kong, developing the operation from inception into one of the chief revenue centers for MSN in Asia. Victor also served at other Fortune 500 corporations, such as Time Warner and CNBC, in the earlier years of his career.
Victor holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
