Denise Colella recently joined Adobe to lead Digital Strategy for our Media, Entertainment, Telecom and Financial Services sectors. She is an Ad Tech Executive with over 25 years of experience in sales, data, product and operations. Her career encompasses Technology companies as well as Media, leading teams around the globe through launch, product development, revenue growth and acquisitions.

After developing trading systems for Japanese financial institutions, she began her adtech career in Tokyo, running Product for DoubleClick. She moved to the Data division where she launched Abacus Japan, Australia, France and Germany while running operations in Dublin and the UK. After moving back to the US, she joined RightMedia, launching their international business and introducing programmatic to the international markets. After an acquisition by Yahoo, Denise became CRO for Audience Science, one of the initial movers in the DMP space, and spent 5 years with Maxifier, a digital optimization provider, where she progressed from CRO to President to CEO. After selling the company in 2015, she excelled at NBCU as SVP, Advanced Advertising and Data, for CTV, Linear, Data and Digital. Denise was responsible for the creation and execution of Audience Studio/AdSmart, the industry leading product suite for cross platform audience targeting. She also spearheaded the introduction and implementation of AAM.

Denise is a board member for She Runs It, frequent speaker on AdTech, data, industry trends and DEI, and investor in early-stage startups, most recently Beeswax. She speaks Japanese and loves to travel. She lives at the Jersey Shore with her two children, Emilia, 14 and Emmitt, 11, husband Eoin, and 2 Doodles who love to disrupt meetings. On nights and weekends she spends all her time cheering at softball and baseball fields in the summer, and at basketball courts in the winter. An avid baseball fan, when she has a minute, she’s at Yankee Stadium.
