Christa Carone is President of Group Nine Media, the #1 publisher on mobile in the U.S. and home to category-leading media brands Thrillist, NowThis, The Dodo and Seeker. She leads revenue-generating centralized operations, including sales, marketing, audience development, data insights, product, technology and new business development for the company. Prior to joining Group Nine, Christa served as COO of WPP’s Group SJR and Managing Director of Colloquial, its joint venture with J. Walter Thompson. Prior, Carone served as the CMO for the Boston 2024 Partnership, the organization charged with developing Boston’s bid for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. And previously, was an EVP at Fidelity Investments, responsible for developing enterprise-wide communication strategies and leading Fidelity’s brand messaging, corporate affairs and digital content strategies. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2013, Christa spent 17 years in increasingly senior roles at Xerox Corporation, most recently serving as CMO.
