Vipul is currently the Vice President – Beverages Category for PepsiCo India region, a role that he took over as recently as August 1,2015. He is responsible for delivering revenue growth, share and brand equity for PepsiCo’s beverage portfolio, 5 brands of which have a retail sale of more than Rs. 1000 crore each. Prior to this, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for the entire portfolio across Beverages and Foods.

Vipul joined PepsiCo in 1998 and held positions in marketing and franchise. In 2007, he relocated to the US, where he spent three years on the International Beverages Marketing team, leading initiatives around Mirinda, Mountain Dew and Tropicana, before taking over the entire CSD Flavours portfolio. In 2007, Vipul moved to Dubai to head the Foods and Beverages Innovation department for PepsiCo Asia, Middle East and Africa. He was in that role before moving back to India.
