David has more than 25 year’s experiences in the IT and Communications industry in APAC and one of the pioneers in the smartphone and mobile internet industry in the region for the past 10 years. He has worked in a wide range of fields from Sales & Marketing, Market Creation and Development to Strategic Planning and building and advising mobile internet startup operations. Currently he is the Managing Director of Tapjoy based in Beijing responsible for establishing Tapjoy as the leading mobile advertising and monetization platform provider for the Greater China region.

Prior to that as Chairman of Finland based Sfonge Ltd, David helped to build a global mobile expert community providing consulting and crowdsourcing services worldwide; driving Symbian and S60 to be the leading smartphone platform in China as General Manager of Symbian Foundation and Sales and Marketing Director for Mobile Software Sales and Marketing in Nokia China. Before moving to Beijing in 2002, David held various executive roles in sales, marketing and technology management in Nokia, Nortel Networks, SWIFT and IBM in both Singapore and Hong Kong.

David holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Calgary, Canada.
