Matthew Bright is the head of product and technical marketing at the Thin Film Electronics NFC Innovation Center in San Jose, California. To enable a greatly expanded vision for the Internet of Everything, he leads market and partner engagement for a new generation of NFC tags, sensors, memory labels, and RF anti-shoplifting labels based on highly scalable printed electronics technology. In addition to his responsibilities at Thinfilm, he serves as Chair of the Retail SIG working group in the NFC Forum, the global organization responsible for the standardization and promotion of NFC technology. Matthew holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and has extensive experience in semiconductor marketing for mobile applications, including memory, multi-chip modules, and short-range wireless communications.
