Amit is the co-founder of InMobi, who is leading an ambitious initiative which has the potential to change the world of advertising and can create multi-billion dollar business for the company. Before this, Amit was based at San Francisco to grow InMobi's dominance and market share in North America. He has also taken care of the global revenue and operations function earlier.

Amit hails from a business family, hence after his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, he chose a career with startups. Soon, his passion for entrepreneurship grew stronger, and he founded Analyticsworks, a product company that created a business intelligence platform focused on media, retail and commerce. The exponential growth of mobile phones and the potential it offered, caught his eye. He believed that mobile device would bring fundamental changes to the world and thus embarked on the journey to start InMobi.

Amit has been playing an active part in building a vibrant startup ecosystem in India. He is an angel investor and also advises young entrepreneurs on the various aspects of starting-up.
