At HMD Global, I lead Product Portfolio Planning, Marketing and Go-To-Market for India in the extremely dynamic and hugely competitive Mobile Devices Category for Nokia Devices & Accessories across Channels and Partners. My current responsibilities include building an India relevant Product Portfolio, developing and executing Consumer and Customer Engagement plans and executing an Omnichannel Go-To-Market strategy including Online Partner and Nokia.com platforms, and driving D2C Digital Transformation for the business.

At Royal DSM, as Director-Strategy and Nutrition Challenges, I created a F&B Nutrition Start Up business unit called MANDI, to launch a portfolio of F&B solutions aimed at combating the challenge of malnutrition, and launched B2C business - NUShakti. This gave me an opportunity to Build, Launch and Deliver a business successfully, from writing Strategy, to enabling Local Manufacturing and delivering Consumer Products & In Market Execution, balancing both business and social impact on a key issue affecting 800mn in India (and over 2 billion people globally). The Campaign Streedhan in 2019, was a result of the CSR work that I also led in the period.

I have built some of the biggest brands for PepsiCo in India, like Kurkure and Mountain Dew. I was responsible for creating scale award-winning consumer campaigns (Crash the Pepsi IPL, Kurkure launch and Lay’s Flavor World Cup), harnessing India energies for innovations (Nimbooz Masala Soda and Lays and Kurkure formats and flavors) and leveraging global playbooks to bring alive the best loved brands from Pepsi, 7UP, Mountain Dew and Mirinda to Lays and Cheetos. As Sr Director Marketing- PepsiCo Beverages, I managed the entire portfolio of Bev brands and also delivered Pepsi IPL, the biggest consumer and customer activation for Pepsi ever, in India and in the Middle East (2014).

I started my career with Unilever, as a management trainee who worked in Sales in the challenging areas of Western UP and Rajasthan for Personal Care Products, and then growing into Brand Activation and Brand Strategy and Innovation roles in the Hair Care category.
