She began her career as a senior financial controller atSevenEleven, where she developed her analytical and leadership skills as a junior manager.Rachel then served as Senior Business Controller at Novartis Pharmacy. At Tiffany & Co., Rachelled the company's entry into the Brazilian market and managed all financial aspects of Tiffany'sgrowth as Brazil's CFO. After establishing Tiffany & Co. As the market leader in Brazil, Rachel washired to lead the expansion and growth of the Danish brand Pandora.As CEO of Pandora Brazil, Rachel led the company's growth fromtwo points of sale to over onehundred points in a period of 8 and a half years. As a black CEO, Rachel represented less than 1%of Brazil's CEOs and serves as an inspiration to many black women and people in Latin America.Rachel holds a degree in Accounting from Centro Universitário FMU and an MBA from FundaçãoGetulio Vargas (FGV). Rachel also completed a course in Negotiation and Leadership through theHarvard Business School Executive Education Program and general management training at theUniversityof Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. Rachel has served as a member of the GeneralCouncil of the Danish Consulate and the Danish Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member ofthe President's Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, Institute for the Developmentof Retail.Today she holds positions in philanthropic institutions, she is part of the board of the Grupo deMulheres Brasil, she is an ambassador for Projeto Guri, Counselor for Conscious Capitalism andFundação Maria Solto Vidigal, Rachelfounded in 2018 a non-profit organization, CAPACITA-ME,which trains people over 18 years old, promoting the education and employability of students andprofessionals in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability.Rachel serves as Administrative Counselor at Banco do Brasil, Vale and CVC Corp. She acted as aD&I Consultant at Carrefour and was also Administrative Counselor at Grupo Soma.Rachel is a proud mother of a beautiful young woman and an adorable boy and mentor to women.Among her favorite activities is reading and spending time with her children. She also dedicatesher time to social impact, having been a volunteer for 8 years for needy families in many challengedregions in Brazil and in the Sociedade dos Vicentinos.
