Jim O’Brien is the 2VP of Digital and Social Marketing at Travelers, where he develops and executes data-driven strategies that put content at the heart of marketing to engage prospects, customers, and agents across all business lines.

With over 20 years of experience in omni-channel and direct-response marketing, Jim has helped organizations succeed at customer acquisition, retention and loyalty, customer analytics, social media engagement, and both brand and digital strategy. Prior to Travelers, Jim was the Chief Marketing Officer of ThinkGeek, the premier online retailer for the global geek community. He has held leadership roles in marketing at companies ranging from innovative startups to established brands, including American Express, Barnes & Noble, DailyCandy, and Ziff-Davis.
