Amy Labroo has 15+ years of experience and expertise leading digital marketing & eCommerce. She is currently GlaxoSmithKline’s Director of Digital Marketing and OmniChannel where she leads digital for 20+ consumer healthcare brands. Prior to this Amy worked at Essential, a unicorn VC startup founded by android creator, Andy Rubin as Head of Digital Marketing. Prior, Amy was the Director of Digital Marketing at Virgin America, leading all online customer acquisition channels (search, social, email, display, etc), front end web development and web analytics. Prior to Virgin America, Amy worked at Wyndham Worldwide where she held three different positions: Global Director of SEO for Wyndham Hotel Group, running organic and local search for 15 brands & websites, Senior Director of eCommerce/Online Marketing for Wyndham Vacation Rentals, leading all digital/ecommerce marketing and Senior Director of Innovation/Emerging Technologies for Wyndham Hotel Group, leading omni-channel experience and the implementation of innovative & emerging technologies and processes, in an effort to improve the experience for Wyndham’s hotel guests, employees and hotel owners. Prior to Wyndham, Amy developed and lead online strategies and digital acquisition at various publishing companies.
Amy holds a BA & MBA from Rutgers University. In her free time she enjoys new adventures with her husband Jason, her dog Lady, and family and friends. She is also an avid wine drinker and a Golden Girls enthusiast.
