Craig Besnoy is set to head up Netbiscuits Inc. and take the mobile software service company's North American business to the next level; former US managing director Ran Farmer moves to the company's advisory board

New York, NY, June, 2011 – Netbiscuits, the world's leading software service for mobile sites and apps, announced today that its board has nominated Craig Besnoy to become the company's new managing director in North America.

Stepping into his new role today, Besnoy will be responsible for Netbiscuits' growth strategy in the United States and other markets on the American continent. In response to rising market demand for mobile websites on the back of device proliferation in North America, Netbiscuits Inc. is expanding its U.S. operations by opening new offices in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

"Today mobile already means serious business for a broad array of different vertical industries in the United States", says Craig Besnoy, Managing Director of Netbiscuits Inc. "Publishing houses, media and entertainment companies as well as retail and e-commerce enterprises are at the forefront of this development. They understand that what many of us called the 'third screen' only some years ago, will soon be the first channel for many kinds of interaction with consumers in the USA and abroad."

"Once again, America is setting the pace for the World Wide Web", adds Michael Neidhoefer, CEO of Netbiscuits. "This time, use cases, business models, content and services need to be re-invented for the mobile channel. To support US brands and companies in this endeavor, Netbiscuits provides a robust, high-performing, and enterprise-class development and publishing platform to create and manage mobile sites and apps for smartphones, media tablets, feature phones and more effectively."

Craig Besnoy joined Netbiscuits in March 2011. Prior to this post, he served as Vice President Business Development for Universal Music Group (UMG), where he most recently developed the company's mobile strategy.

Ran Farmer, Netbiscuits' former US managing director, moves to the company's advisory board. Throughout more than six years he has successfully built up Netbiscuits' North American operations and led the technology company to its position as the leading development and publishing platform for mobile sites and apps in the USA.
